BLAU SALVATGE ensemble
Blau Salvatge is a band based in Bern (Switzerland) composed of eight young professional musicians. It is a musical proposal which combines jazz, classical and popular music in a single recipe. Original and stylistically divergent pieces written for an unusual octet.
Blau Salvatge was awarded as best jazz album of the year 2020 by the Catalan music magazine NÚVOL for their first album. The band has performed in venues such as BeJazz Winterfestival (Bern), Alte Reithalle (Aarau), Fabra & Coats and L’Auditori (Barcelona), among others.
We are Nancy Meier (flutes), Paula Haeni (clarinet/bass clarinet), Felix Grandjean (trumpet), Pere Molines (trombone), Zoë Gordon (violin), Tabea Kind (double bass), Nico Bianco (drums) and Joan Pérez-Villegas (vibraphone and composition).
